Assalamu'alaykum & Greetings to all,<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #2c301a; font-family: "georgia" , sans-serif; font-size: 20px; line-height: 30px;">The Prophet (PBUH) said, “</span><em style="color: #2c301a; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; line-height: 30px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px;">There is no deed that is better in the sight of Allah or more greatly rewarded than a good deed done in the (first) ten days of Al-Adha”. <br />
THIS is indeed a late post. It should've obviously been uploaded BEFORE dhul hijjah! But still, I'm just telling myself it's better late than never. So just in case anyone come across this, in sha Allah, there's still 8 more of these blessed days.<br />
<br />
People are just very busy these days astaghfirulla and the days just past us in a blink of an eye subhanAllah! *guilty myself* (Sidenote: This is actually also a sign of the end of the Day approaching. May Allah have mercy upon us and that we never delay in preparing for Afterlife.)<br />
<br />
This post is just a quick burst of suggestions on what deeds/actions to perform during these 10 blessed days.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The MAIN IDEA is to INCREASE IN GOOD DEEDS:</span><br />
<br />
<u>FASTING</u> - Abu Hurayra narrated: "Allah said: Every act of the son of Adam is for him except fasting which is done for Me, and I will reward him for it. (Sahih Bukhari)<br />
<br />
Option 1: Fast all 1-9 Dhul Hijjah<br />
Option 2: Fast as many days as you are capable amongst the 9 days; including 9th Dhul Hijjah<br />
Option 3: Fast only on the day of Arafa i.e. 9th of Dhul Hijjah<br />
<br />
<u>Read/recite the Qur'an</u><br />
<br />
<u>Sadaq</u>a - Do it in secret if you can. Here's an easy one. <a href="https://www.launchgood.com/challenge?src=8844" target="_blank">Join this challenge! =)</a><br />
<br />
<u>Dhkr</u> - Tasbeeh (SubhanAllah), Tahmeed (Alhamdulillah), Tahleel (Laillahailallah), Takbeer (AllahuAkbar)<br />
<br />
<u>Sunnah prayers</u><br />
<br />
<u>General good deeds</u><br />
<br />
REMEMBER, these 10 days are as special as the last ten nights of Ramadan so treat these 10 days as importantly. May He strengthen us in worship and that He accept our deeds.<br />
<br />
WAllahua'lam<br />

Bismillah.<br />
<br />
Assalamu alaykum and greetings.<br />
<br />
I've been meaning to share a few things since two weeks ago but procrastinated and succumbed to my lazy-ness (Not literally. It's just that I was constantly occupied with other things.), astaghfirulla. Got to definitely learn to prioritize and feel urgency in important matters such as spreading good information or doing good deeds that attains His Pleasure.<br />
<br />
Abu Hurairah was once told by his friend, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) that he is able to increase his rizq by practising the following three deeds:<br />
<br />
1. performing the 2 rak'ah Duha (forenoon) prayer<br />
<br />
2. pray the Witr prayer at night or before bed (up to 11 rak'ah or even as little as 1 rak'ah if you're not capable of more)<br />
<br />
3. to fast 3 white days monthly (13th, 14th, & 15th of every lunar month)<br />
<br />
Reference: Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi<br />
<br />
So upon learning these, the Prophet's sahaba (companion/friend), Abu Hurayrah begin practising this habit. Soon after, he received a proposal from a very wealthy man (for his daughter) hence the saying that these actions lead you to good riqz, in shaa Allah (God Willing) and bi'iznillah (with His Permission). Know that he always led a poor life before and eventually did get his portion of wealth. However, to Abu Hurayrah himself, his definition of wealth differs from the norm. To him, wealth is knowledge of the Deen. This is why he busied his entire life seeking knowledge rather than monetary wealth. SubhanAllah, may Allah help us aspire to come close to his thoughts (ways of thinking).<br />

What's next? Free Islamic online course and 6 Days of Syawwal fasting<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Bismillah.<br />
<br />
Before I forget, <a href="http://seekershub.org/" target="_blank">Seekers Hub</a> is open for registration now and it closes in 8 days. Hurry go register. Take this opportunity especially for full-time working people as this is ideal for us since we can follow the course at our own pace, from home, anywhere! It's free and highly credible too. Of course, donation is always welcomed. Remember, charity does not make us any less richer. It's actually increasing our akherah's savings account!<br />
<br />
So belated Eid Moubarak to all who observes it! So yeah, Ramadan has left us and time definitely flew by! Let's make du'aa that we be given the chance to experience another Ramadan and also to keep up with our good habits which we have been at for the past month. After all, Islam is not all about Ramadan, yes? So keep inspiring and encouraging yourself to stick to those habits which brings you closer to your one and only Creator, Allah.<br />
<br />
May Allah (SWT) accept all our du'aas (prayers) and other ibadah (acts of worship) during the holy month of Ramadan. Amin.<br />
<br />
Also, Syawal comes after the month of Ramadan. And when I hear the month of Syawal, the first thing that comes to mind is "6 white days" i.e. the fasting of 6 days during this month.<br />
<br />
Just in case there are some people (such as myself years back-2011) who's not been enlightened on this matter, six white days refers to fasting for 6 days in the month of Syawal. It is said that the ajr/rewards/<i>pahala</i> for this ibadah is equivalent to the ajr of fasting for a year. Hence, why not do it if you're capable, no? =)<br />
<br />
Quote quote:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: , , "tahoma" , "verdana" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 28px; text-align: justify;"><i><span style="color: purple;">Abu Ayyoob (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: <b>“Whoever fasts Ramadaan and follows it with six days of Shawwaal,</b> it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” (Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah).</span></i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium; text-align: justify;">"</span><em style="font-size: large; text-align: justify;">Sesiapa yang berpuasa Ramadan kemudian diikuti dengan puasa enam hari pada bulan Syawal, seolah-olah dia berpuasa sepanjang tahun."</em><span style="font-size: medium; text-align: justify;"> (Hadis riwayat Muslim).</span></div>
<br />
Just a general guideline: You don't necessarily have to fast for 6 consecutive days although that is the most recommended i.e. 6 days starting 2nd of Syawwal. However, as long as you complete these 6 days of fasting in the month of Syawwal, it still gives us the rewards a year of fasting.<br />
<br />
SO SEIZE THIS OPPORTUNITY fellow brothers and sisters! Carpe diem as time and tide waits for no men.<br />
<br />
WAllahua'lam (Allah knows best).</div>

(before anything, forgive me for being untidy/disorganized. it's just a bunch of words/sentences which I find meaningful)<br />
<br />
Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FW9aAHJGFg<br />
<br />
The following are some excerpts extracted from Ihya’ ulum al-Din:<br />
<br />
Talks about the art of a tremendous character.<br />
<br />
When asked about good character: hold to forgiveness and enjoin kindness, turn aside from the ignorant ones. It is that you should seek reconciliation with those who avoid you, give to those who withhold from you and forgive those who deal with you unjustly.<br />
<br />
I was sent only to perfect the Noble qualities of a character<br />
<br />
The heaviest in the scales shall be the fear of God and good character<br />
<br />
The Prophet SAW was asked: What is religion? Good character. Good character. Good character. This was his reply when he was asked for 3 consecutive times.<br />
<br />
Someone asked the Prophet SAW: Give me some advice. Fear God, whoever or wherever you may be. Give me more advice. Follow a sin with a good deed and you will erase it. Give me more advice. When you deal with people, do so with goodness of character. And then he asked the Prophet: Which was the best of deeds? To have good character.<br />
<br />
The Prophet SAW said: Never shall God make good the character and create a form of a man and then allow him to be devoured by hell.<br />
<br />
The very first thing to be weight in the scale shall be good character and generosity.<br />
<br />
When God created faith: It said O’ Lord God strengthen me and He strengthened it with good character and generosity. When He created disbelief: It said, O’ Lord God strengthen me and He strengthened it with adverse and bad character.<br />
<br />
Verily God has chosen this religion for himself. Thus nothing is appropriate for your religion except generosity and good character. Ornament therefore, your religion with them.<br />
<br />
Goodness of character is God’s greatest creation.<br />
<br />
Which believer is best in faith? He who is best in character.<br />
<br />
<i>Blog writer interrupts:</i> <i>SubhanAllah subhanAllah! See how much our religion emphasize on GOOD CHARACTER? Time and again, "good character" is repeated! And yet, is that what we are portraying to others about our faith? Astaghfirulla astaghfirulla. May Allah make us amongst those with good character!! Amin amin ya Rabb.</i><br />
<br />
Bad character corrupts one’s works just as vinegar corrupts honey.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Someone used to frequently pray: </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Lord God, I ask thee for health, content me with my Lord and good character.</span></b></div>
<br />
I'd say that that is indeed a very simple, short yet full of meaning du'aa, mashaAllah!<br />
<br />
That's it for today and salam Eid-ul-adha to all tomorrow.<br />
<br />
May Allah make us amongst people of Jannah and continuously guide us.<br />
<br />
WAllahu'alam,<br />

BISMILLAH.<br />
<br />
Salam alaykum wbt and hi all,<br />
<br />
I pray we are all in our highest of Imaan at all times and amongst those blessed by Allah SWT.<br />
<br />
So I watched this while having my late breakfast/brunch today, alhamdulillah. A good and beneficial entertainment in my opinion. All praise to Allah SWT.<br />
<br />
Love it when I heard the following and many other points too, which I'm not going to list down.<br />
<br />
- There is no age limit as long as you can do it, spreading spirit of fun at home. Halal fun is an act of worship.<br />
<br />
- Feeding food into your wife's mouth is charity. What could be better than having to do something you love and enjoy as a means of getting rewarded by Allah for it?<br />
<br />
MASHAALLAH. ONLY ISLAM, only this religion has such a fine concept. I thank Allah for this religion.<br />

Salam wbt and hi all,<br />

<br />
Here's something I'd like to share with all brothers and sisters, especially those who are blessed and fortunate to be located in the UK at the moment. (Also, of course to non-Muslims if you are interested. hehe)<br />
<br />
There's a great 10-day long knowledge retreat that will be held in the UK during Christmas holidays. Seize this opportunity that Allah has given! True enough, you are required to spend out of your savings but seriously, it is going to be worth every penny and there will be not an ounce of regret but all the otherwise feelings and emotions instead. Trust me, I at least know this much when it comes to spending in the path of Allah SWT, an effort in procuring His knowledge. Remember, we are His Creation, He is our Creator, the least we can do is to work towards growing closer to Him and what way could be best than getting to know things revolving around Him?!!<br />
<br />
Here's the link: <a href="http://almaghrib.org/ilmsummit">http://almaghrib.org/ilmsummit</a><br />
<br />
And PLEASE PLEASE PLASE do spread this event with all our firends. Make use of your wide networks in this regards and for such purposes i.e. spreading goodness and beneficial stuff to others, in shaa Allah.<br />
<br />
May Allah guide us all always and may we be amongst those who gets Jannah in the Afterlife im shaa Allah.<br />
<br />

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. and greetings to all,<br />
<br />
Here's a video by NAK which I'd like to share with others. May it bring benefit to all.<br />
<br />
Enjoy!<br />

"You want to be with them now, you get to be with them in afterlife too!" *zaaap, what a slap!*<br />
<br />
Don't allow your sensitivity to drop. You can't think that when Islam is being insulted, you are not being insulted. When you reach this point, it shows that you are that much closer of being a hypocrite despite one claiming himself a believer.<br />
<br />
This matter is a part of a larger concept in the AQ i.e. dignity. In shaa Allah with guarding our sensitivity and upholding our dignity, may we strengthen in our character and in our faith.<br />
<br />

Bismillah.<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;">When you miss someone, be it mummy, daddy, family, etc..:</span><br />
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: inherit;"><br style="color: #333333; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;" /></span>
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;">Make lots of du'as for them.. For their safety, protection and steadfastness.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: inherit;"><br style="color: #333333; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;" /></span>
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;">There isn't really any shortcut when it comes to the matter of the heart. No doubt it's difficult to deal with such emotions, especially women as Allah made us that way.</span><br />
<div class="text_exposed_show" style="color: #333333; display: inline; line-height: 13.600000381469727px;">
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: inherit;"><br />
But alhamdulillah, Allah SWT is there for us at all times. Make the AQ your mate and reflect upon it. Listen to nasheed (I love Ya Adheeman) to develop you peace of the mind.<br />
<br />
Fill your heart, mind, body and soul with Allah SWT as truly, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest, ease and serenity, iA.<br />
<br />
Some du'as we can recite:<br />
<br />
1. Hasbiyallahu wa ni'mal wakeel<br />
<br />
Allah is sufficient for me and what an Excellent Patron He is<br />
<br />
2. Allahumma rahmataka arjoo , falaa takilnii ilaa nafsee tarfatha aynin wa aslih lee sha'nee kullahu, Laa ilaaha ila anta<br />
<br />
O' Allah, I look upon Your Mercy, so leave me not to myself even a blink of an eye and set right all my affairs. There is no deity except You<br />
<br />
3. Allahumma agfirlee khatee'atee wa jahlee wa israfee fee amree wa maa anta a'lamu bihi minnee<br />
<br />
O' Allah, forgive all my sins, my ignorance, my squandering in my matters and whatever You know more about me than myself<br />
<br />
4. Allahumma alhimnee rushdee wa ai'zinee min sharri nafsee<br />
<br />
O' Allah, give me a conviction of the goodness of my faith and save me from the base tendencies of my own self.<br />
<br />
#sharingiscaring #justmakelotsofdua<br />
<br />
oh, and don't forget to smile.. =) haha</span></div>
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: #fce5cd; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>

Bismillah.<br />
<br />
Eid Mubarak to all who celebrates! It's really sad that Ramadan has left us but anyway, may we be given the chance to be able to experience another Ramadan and also to keep up with our good habits we have been at for the past month. Don't let it stop just cos ramadan has ended. After all, Islam is not all about Ramadan, yes? So keep inspiring and encouraging yourself to stick to those habits which brings you closer to your one and only Creator, iAllah.<br />
<br />
May Allah (SWT) accept all our prayers, du'as and other ibadah during the whole holy month of Ramadan, iAllah. Amin.<br />
<br />
Also, Syawal comes after the month of Ramadan. And when I hear the month of Syawal, the first thing that comes to mind is "6 white days" i.e. the fasting of 6 days during this month.<br />
<br />
Just in case there are some people (such as myself years back) who's not been enlightened on this matter, six white days refers to fasting for 6 days in the month of Syawal. It is said that the ajr/rewards/<i>pahala</i> for this ibadah is equivalent to the ajr of fasting for a year. Hence, why not do it if you're capable, no? =)<br />
<br />
Quote quote:<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium; text-align: justify;">"</span><em style="font-size: large; text-align: justify;">Sesiapa yang berpuasa Ramadan kemudian diikuti dengan puasa enam hari pada bulan Syawal, seolah-olah dia berpuasa sepanjang tahun."</em><span style="font-size: medium; text-align: justify;"> (Hadis riwayat Muslim).</span>
</div>
<br />
For more information on Puasa Six, you can click on <a href="http://www.brunet.bn/gov/mufti/irsyad/pelita/2000/ic2_2000.htm">me</a> (Note: It's in <i>Malay</i>).<br />
<br />
SO SEIZE THIS OPPORTUNITY fellow brothers and sisters! Carpe diem! as time and tide waits for no men.<br />
<br />

Sharing is caring. I guess it's worth listening though it's something most of us already know, it serves as a good reminder regardless since us human tend to forget to acknowledge things despite knowing what's right or wrong in our hearts. Ignorance is indeed seeded in every being, what distinguishes one from another is how he/she deals and work around it.<br />

The talk has a very nice touch to its ending.. we love through Allah not love Allah through anything else.. i.e. we love Allah and Allah loves smthg therefore we love that smthg cos Allah loves it..<br />

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good ramadhan so far.<br />

So I'm sure everyone is aware that Ramadhan is just around the corner and here is a very nice and touching video I'd like to share with all so that it's not only me who benefits from such a wonderful talk by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. (Thanks to a dear friend of mine who's so kind to share it with me.) Note: The beginning might not be that appealing but bear with the intro cos the talk gets more and more interesting. Trust me! HIS MESSAGE IS AWESOME!<br />
<br />
Do listen to it. It's just ~12 mins. I'm sure you can spare 12 minutes even if you're the most busy person in the world, be it president of the States, busy studying for exam, etc. Seriously, if you don't make time, you'll forever be the I-don't-have-time person. Time and tide waits for no man. Remember, make time for Him and He'll make time for you in return. =) You never know when He'll strip you off your life. Life is fragile.<br />
<br />
P/s: Love your God more than any other thing/creation in this Dunya. Live your life as best as you can in this temporary world, for Him and for Jannah aka Paradise! =)<br />
<br />
WAllahua'lam.</div>

Bismillah.<br />
<br />
Assalamualaikum & Greetings!<br />
<br />
Alhamdulillah. Praise be to Allah SWT for such a wonderful day.<br />
<br />
I have to say that I am very happy for today's opportunity to go for Friday prayers as I have not gone for it in such a long time. Yes, it is unfortunate but I don't have much of a choice either. Attending it this afternoon definitely brought joy to me and enriched my soul all over again. Seeing so many brothers and sisters, all of us walking towards prayer in congregation. MASHALLAH, what a blessing it is for me to witness this! As if "refueling" the spirit of my Imaan. It also reminded me of why I love Islam so very much, how I fell in love with it. Alhamdulillah. Such rejuvenation and refreshing feeling, ahh, THANK YOU GOD! =)<br />
<br />
Thus, I would like to share the main point of today's khutbah regarding <u>time management.</u><br />
<br />
Always remind ourselves and others to NOT WASTE our:<br />
<br />
TIME<br />
ENERGY<br />
RESOURCES<br />
BOUNTY<br />
ETC.<br />
<br />
Manage time wisely with beneficial stuff. Support it with our tongue and actions. Ask yourself, do you spend too much time online? And if you do, what kind of stuff are you browsing or doing? Keeping up with world news, scientific discoveries, finance updates, philosophical ebook/articles, iQuran, etc.? Or is it more of social networking, blogging, gaming, movies, drama, etc.? Do you spend too much time in front of TV or doing sports/gym/outdoors? Remember, everything must be done in moderation. Too much of ANYTHING is usually unhealthy for anybody. BALANCE IS THE KEY - one of my favourite phrase.<br />
<br />
(And yes, you CAN be your own judge. Are you happy with your answers? You get the drift =))<br />
<br />
Keep in mind a majority of those who spend a lot of their time in the remembrance of Allah (SWT) are usually the ones with most peaceful and sound heart. <br />
<br />
Nobody's asking you to sacrifice your career or interests to do this. You just got to plan and prioritise well. You will inshaAllah be able to spend time for Him and also have time for your work and other hobbies.<br />
<br />
Well, that's in a nutshell of the khutbah. I enjoyed the jemaah prayers. Feels so good!! *Happy*<br />
<br />
WAllahua'lam<br />
<br />
<br />
P/s: Those interested in a planner (taskinator from productive muslim site), you can download it from the folder found at the top of this blog page. Hope it helps some of you out there to better organise your events.<br />

<br />
<br />
So a couple of days back, Sunday at the break of dawn, if I'm not mistaken, I heard some intensely horrible news on CBC channel, really struck me and my thoughts traveled at lightning speed (hm, maybe a tad much of a drama queen here) right to the moment where I was seated at RIS Knowledge Retreat during one of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf's slot; the time he played slides of images of things and events which are signs of End of the Day. One of it being plane crashes that will occur without even the slightest idea of how it could have happened or what caused it, etc.<br />
<span style="color: #444444;"><br />"<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: -webkit-auto;">A commercial airliner crashed into a densely populated neighbourhood in Nigeria's largest city on Sunday, <b>killing all 153 people on board</b> and others on the ground in the worst air disaster in nearly two decades for the troubled nation.</span></span><br />

Inna lillahi wa ina ilaihi raji un. So many people lost their lives. These are loved ones of some people out there. ='(

What Shaykh HY pointed out is right. We should realise that Signs have been sent unto us since a long time ago with disasters taking place literally everywhere and sometimes at locations that doesn't even make sense. (As in, geographically speaking, certain phenomena just ain't suppose to occur at some places YET it does happen) SubhanAllah, such is His Power!! Heed it, men.<br />

<b style="background-color: white;">Q:</b><span style="background-color: white;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; color: blue;">If during the barzakh <i>dah mula</i> (begins) punishments and <i>kesenangan</i> (ease/comfort) for the non-righteous and righteous respectively, does this indicate that they've sort of been "pre-judged" even before judgment day comes? If that's the case, during barzakh, this ppl has been determined as a believer/non-believer? Hm, and they still need to go through judgment day later?</span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>A:</b> </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #454545;">Before I answer your question… (NOTE THAT PRINCIPLE III & IV IS MOST IMPORTANT TO OUR DISCUSSION, but I would like to walk through all four principles)</span></span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">A few basic principles about judgement: <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: inherit;">PRINCIPLE I:</span><span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"> God is just and you will be judged according to your own deeds<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">In Islam, the concept of judgement is very simple, clear, and logical. Just like in your exam, you start with a blank answer sheet, you’ve answered (you lived), you’ve submitted your paper (i.e. technically you die, but you will see later how death is not your ‘final answer’), you will be marked only for your own paper (your own deeds). This is what you will expect from a just examiner right? You aren’t going to be asked about Adam’s paper that starts with -100 mark suddenly (original sin in Christianity), or Muhammad, Jesus, your classmate needs to sacrifice himself to give you extra bonus mark or anything like that.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">Firstly, the most basic principle is:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><b>God is not unjust to His slaves. 22:10<o:p></o:p></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><b>So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 99:7<o:p></o:p></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><b>And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 99:8<o:p></o:p></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #274e13; font-family: inherit;"><b>That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another, and that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad) 53:39<o:p></o:p></b></span></div>

<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">So the very basic principle is God will judge us justly (If He isn’t just, He isn’t God) according to our deed, the only thing we worry about is our own deed, not if God screws up, because He won’t.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: inherit;">PRINCIPLE II:</span><span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"> No one enters Paradise by his deeds alone<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">Principle I sounds great, everything is just and straightforward. But.. But.. this world is not objective, human life is complex, it’s not like this one deed = one <i>pahala </i>(reward) for everyone, different circumstances may make one deed harder for a person but easier for another person etc etc. So while God is just, and will never be unjust to His slave, this concept of just is not a mathematical objective scale of marking, but rather a holistic marking that considers all aspects of human life’s complexity and our relationship with Him:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">The Prophet (salAllahu `alaihi wa sallam) said: "No one of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone."<o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?"</span></div>
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit;">He said, "Not even me, unless Allah covers me with His Grace and Mercy"</span></span></div>
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">
<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">We will judged by all our deeds very justly, but He knows our life is more complex than just good deeds and bad deeds, and He will take that into account. For example in the hadith:<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">In the narration of Al-Bukhari, the Prophet (PBUH) is reported to have said<o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">"Once a dog was going round the well and was about to die out of thirst. A prostitute of Banu Israel happened to see it. So she took off her leather sock and lowered it into the well. She drew out some water and gave the dog to drink. She was forgiven on account of her action".<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">It is understood that the prostitute is forgiven and admitted to jannah (not sure if another narration explicitly stated enter jannah). So life is complex, God is merciful, we strive to be the best.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: inherit;">PRINCIPLE III</span><span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">: You’re not done with your deeds even after you die<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">Rasulullah (pbuh) said, "When the son of Adam (human being) dies, his deeds are stopped except for three things; namely: his good deeds, his knowledge, and his pious child who prays for him."<o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">So your <i>amal jari’ah</i> (translated as ‘good deeds’), for example you build a mosque with your own money (with utmost sincerity), and people keep praying in the mosque even after you die, you will keep getting the reward even after you die. Or you taught beneficial knowledge and your students are using them and they in turn teach it to their student, you will keep getting the reward as the knowledge continues to flow to others. Or you have a pious child who keeps doing the good things you’ve taught him/her, and he/she keeps making <i>du’a</i> (prayers) for you.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">The time when all these three things ultimately stop is judgement day (maybe your good knowledge is passed down generation after generation until judgement day, who knows..).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: inherit;">PRINCIPLE IV:</span><span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"> Sentence in hell can be either temporary or eternal for a person<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">Reported in Sahih al-Bukhari, the Prophet (salAllahu `alaihi wa sallam) said:</span></div>
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit;">Some of the people will stay in Hell (be destroyed) because of their (evil) deeds, and some will be cut or torn by the hooks (and fall into Hell) and some will be punished and then relieved. When Allah (SWT) has finished His Judgments among the people, He will take whomever He will out of Hell through His Mercy…</span></span></div>
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">
<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">(the hadith goes on about ‘conversation’ between the man and God)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">Even if one is in hell, it could be temporary, some people will enter jannah after serving ‘his/her sentence’ in hell for certain period. It’s like you get 10 years sentence in jail for all the crime you’ve committed, then you are free. We know you’re a good person, you’ve done much good too.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: inherit;">SO NOW BACK TO YOUR QUESTION:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: blue;">does this indicate that they've kinda been "pre-judged" even before judgment day comes?</span><span style="color: #454545;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: blue; font-family: inherit;">if that's the case, during barzakh, this ppl has been determined as a believer/non-believer?</span><span style="color: #454545;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: inherit;">It’s not as black and white as believer/non-believer, there are spectrums right. I think Principle II highlighted that everything is taken into consideration and most importantly Principle I holds true. Even heaven and hell have stages. As Principle IV stated, even if one is in hell, it could be temporary, some people will enter jannah after serving ‘his/her sentence’ in hell for a certain period.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: inherit;">So barzakh will give an indication, but you don’t know yet your final abode (remember <b>final abode is when we are talking about for eternity</b>), as you are not ultimately judged yet. Yes, you are perhaps a bad person who murder ppl and rape a woman, and you will get some form of punishment in barzakh, but maybe out of His mercy, He knows your struggle and your circumstances, the other good deeds you did too that no one else know, He will perhaps admit you to Jannah after going through some punishment in barzakh and a period in hellfire (perhaps, just a scenario).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #444444;">Plus, principle III means that you are still getting rewards even during barzakh, but look.. ultimately it is by His mercy that you enter jannah in the end. Remember the hadith in Principle II where the prostitute is forgiven for giving a thirsty dog who is about to die some water. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #444444;"><br /></span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #444444;">In conclusion, barzakh is a transition period, you will get some punishment and perhaps your stay in barzakh will be quite comfy, but <b>it is not the final judgement</b>.</span><span style="color: #454545;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Assalamualaikum & Greetings to all,</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I wish everyone's in the best of health and as for us Muslims, may we always be blessed and in our highest state of Imaan constantly, inshaAllah.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Oh on a side note, just so you know, I do always wish to be able to write more here but yeah, I guess time flies and swoosh by too fast especially this past couple of months. MashaAllah, I am amazed at how one third of 2012 has already gone by!! Wallahi, I'm just in awe.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Anyway, back to the runaway before any crashing takes place **haha, in aviation mood atm. Yup, random much.** Here's sort of a <span style="color: red;"><b>Q & A regarding the </b></span><span style="color: red; font-weight: bold;">topic of what comes after death. </span>*coughs* hmm, sounds pretty intense of a subject chosen to discuss about eh. Haha, oh well.. (Anyhow, the replies are very well written and organised as well as pretty straightforward and simple to comprehend, this is why I would like to share it with others so it can benefit others as well. I'd say it is definitely worth a read albeit it being a tad bit long of a post.)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><a href="http://nur-aqlili-liana-c.blogspot.com/2012/05/part-22-ever-wondered-whats-in-store.html" target="_blank">Part 2</a></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="line-height: 18px;"><span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: normal;">_______________________________________________________________</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>Q:</b> <span style="color: blue;">What happens after we die? So judgment day is the same for all, or so I've been told. Then <b>what happens to those who die first</b>? I guess they're waiting? And I heard that this waiting period is something called barzakh? And <b>where</b> are they waiting?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>A:</b> <span style="background-color: white;">The soul is not something in the material world right, it has no spatial location. i.e. the grave, cemetery, crematorium, etc. Js like where r u when u r asleep? Your body is in the bed, but your soul, Allahua’lam, nobody knows.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Firstly I think, consider the fact that we know very little about the soul. Scientifically speaking we have no idea what the soul is, as it is not in the material world. Like we know neurons fire in certain are of the brain and cause you to desire something etc, but we can’t describe fully why we feel everything in its glory, or what is consciousness, or how to bring the dead to life. The soul is beyond us:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span style="color: #38761d;">“And they ask you concerning the <i>Rûh </i>(the Spirit); Say: "The <i>Rûh </i>(the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." (Qur'an 17:85).</span><span style="color: #666666;"><o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So what we understand a little bit about the soul from revelation is that, after we die, the soul will depart from our physical body. It will be in another realm called barzakh, and hadiths on the description of this waiting time realm (barzakh) can be read <a href="http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24213" target="_blank">here</a>.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">When judgement day come, every soul will be ‘raised up’ again or put into a ‘materialistic’ body (again we don’t know the nature of this body or this new material world existence, it is not the same as our world/universe). Then we will be judged and will find our final abode:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #666666; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></b></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: inherit;"><b>“And because the hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and because Allah shall <i>raise up</i> those who are in the graves.”<i>Qur'an</i> 22:7</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Note that ‘graves’ here is not to be understood literally your grave that you were buried upon, it is a metaphorical expression for putting the soul back into a ‘physical existence’. As another verse below that mentions raising up, but not from the literal grave:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></b></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: inherit;"><b>“Till when there comes to one of them the death he says: "My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." Never, it is but a word he says. And beyond them is a Barzakh until the day when they (all) are raised up." Qur'an 23: 99-100.<o:p></o:p></b></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></b></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span style="color: #38761d;">“Even so is the quickening (raising the dead)” Qur'an 35:9</span></b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And we know scientifically that this universe will collapse and cease to exists someday. As there is big bang, the universe expands, then there will be big crunch where the universe will collapse back into singularity (non-existence, time and space cease to exists). So we know the end of time is inevitable, the universe is not infinite, nor will it exists forever, <b><span style="color: purple;">so whatever we understand in Islam about the end of time is in line with what we observe scientifically</span></b><span style="color: #454545;">. </span>Then judgement day starts, this new universe, reality, the afterlife.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>Q:</b> </span><span style="color: blue;">"My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected."</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: inherit;">Send me back? He's asking to be sent back into the world so he can rectify his mistakes and perform more goodness that he had used to neglect in life? huh? what?! this isnt referring to reborn right.. Islam doesnt have this concept, no?</span><br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>A:</b> </span>Haha.. Well u got it spot on. What a silly thing to ask no? Basically that is what a person who lived a God-<b>un</b>conscious life in this world would ask God once he is dead. Bring me back so I can live a good life, pray, and everything. Of course permission denied.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">What will happen is the remaining of the verse: “Never, it is but a word he says. And beyond them is a Barzakh until the day when they (all) are raised up." Which means nope, you’re going to wait in this barzakh and the judgement day.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Get it?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Lastly, b</span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit;">ottom line is, the only thing we know is that in barzakh, if you lived a righteous life you will have an easy time, if not you will start tasting some punishments.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><span style="color: #38761d;">The Messenger of Allaah (SAW) said, "Verily the grave is the first stopping place for the Hereafter; so if he is saved therein, then what comes after is easier than it. And if he is not saved therefrom, then that which comes after is harder." [Tirmidhi]</span></b><span style="color: #454545;"><o:p></o:p></span></span><br />

</div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>Q: </b></span><span style="color: blue;">This goes to say one starts to face punishments even in the days of Barzakh i.e. even before judgment day comes.. Yes? (I recall another friend of mine telling me this as well some time back.. hm)</span></span></div>
</div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>A: </b></span>Yeah, there are some punishments and some comfort for the righteous, as some of the hadiths in the link I’ve posted mentions. But we don’t know the details, and even some of the hadiths are weak hadiths (authenticity aren't verified). So I wouldn’t go into the details.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I think by now you know too that questions like how long you will be in barzakh, some people died long time ago, some ppl js died etc. are not very relevant. We don’t project our understanding of our <b>nature of the universe to the unseen</b> (including time). After all, just like a dream, or just like sleeping, the soul doesn’t get the same feeling of passage of time, so let alone the barzakh.<span style="color: #454545;"><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<span style="line-height: 18px;"><span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: normal;">_______________________________________________________________</span></span></div>
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>Q:</b> <span style="color: blue;">If during the barzakh <i>dah mula</i> (begins) punishments and <i>kesenangan</i> (ease/comfort) for the non-righteous and righteous respectively, does this indicate that they've sort of been "pre-judged" even before judgment day comes? If that's the case, during barzakh, this ppl has been determined as a believer/non-believer? Hm, and they still need to go through judgment day later?</span>
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span><br />
<b>A: TO BE CONTINUED...~ </b>=) [<i>jeng jeng jeng.. </i>this is actually the most exciting and informative part of the read. Hmm, you know how good things don't always come easy? Well, same in this case. So yeah, please do wait for <a href="http://nur-aqlili-liana-c.blogspot.com/2012/05/part-22-ever-wondered-whats-in-store.html" target="_blank">part 2</a> aite!!]<br />

SubhanAllah~! =]<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Bismillah.<br />
<br />
Dear sisters, do you know that so much of the world actually "wears hijab"?<br />
<br />
YES!<br />
<br />
The Earth is surrounded by the atmosphere and ozone later<br />
Fresh fruits have peels on them<br />
The sword is preserved in a sheath<br />
An inked pen would dry without its cap<br />
We put paperback and hardback covers on our books<br />
<br />
A pen would be thrown away because it became useless without its cap<br />
An apple without a peel becomes rotten<br />
A banana without a peel would change in colour<br />
And a woman is a 'beautiful flower' which every one wishes to pick so she should cover herself with the beautiful hijab<br />
Subhan Allah, the world is wearing a hijab!<br />
<br />
What about you? (but yes of course there are those who have circumstances and their reasons^^) Peace~<br />
