Part 2/2: Ever wondered what's in store after death?

The following is continuation to the previous post. Sorry for the delay, been going through some hectic and troubled times and haven't been online much lately. Hope you guys benefit from this post. Oh, and please  constantly take care of your health, never take it for granted. Thank Him always for the good health He's given unto you.

Q: If during the barzakh dah mula (begins) punishments and kesenangan (ease/comfort) for the non-righteous and righteous respectively, does this indicate that they've sort of been "pre-judged" even before judgment day comes? If that's the case, during barzakh, this ppl has been determined as a believer/non-believer? Hm, and they still need to go through judgment day later?


A: Before I answer your question… (NOTE THAT PRINCIPLE III & IV IS MOST IMPORTANT TO OUR DISCUSSION, but I would like to walk through all four principles)

A few basic principles about judgement:  

PRINCIPLE I: God is just and you will be judged according to your own deeds

In Islam, the concept of judgement is very simple, clear, and logical. Just like in your exam, you start with a blank answer sheet, you’ve answered (you lived), you’ve submitted your paper (i.e. technically you die, but you will see later how death is not your ‘final answer’), you will be marked only for your own paper (your own deeds). This is what you will expect from a just examiner right? You aren’t going to be asked about Adam’s paper that starts with -100 mark suddenly (original sin in Christianity), or Muhammad, Jesus, your classmate needs to sacrifice himself to give you extra bonus mark or anything like that.

Firstly, the most basic principle is:

God is not unjust to His slaves. 22:10

So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 99:7

And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 99:8

That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another, and that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad)  53:39

God burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned 2:286

So the very basic principle is God will judge us justly (If He isn’t just, He isn’t God)  according to our deed, the only thing we worry about is our own deed, not if God screws up, because He won’t.

PRINCIPLE II: No one enters Paradise by his deeds alone

Principle I sounds great, everything is just and straightforward. But.. But.. this world is not objective, human life is complex, it’s not like this one deed = one pahala (reward) for everyone, different circumstances may make one deed harder for a person but easier for another person etc etc. So while God is just, and will never be unjust to His slave, this concept of just is not a mathematical objective scale of marking, but rather a holistic marking that considers all aspects of human life’s complexity and our relationship with Him:

The Prophet (salAllahu `alaihi wa sallam) said: "No one of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone."

They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?"

He said, "Not even me, unless Allah covers me with His Grace and Mercy"

We will judged by all our deeds very justly, but He knows our life is more complex than just good deeds and bad deeds, and He will take that into account. For example in the hadith:

In the narration of Al-Bukhari, the Prophet (PBUH) is reported to have said

"Once a dog was going round the well and was about to die out of thirst. A prostitute of Banu Israel happened to see it. So she took off her leather sock and lowered it into the well. She drew out some water and gave the dog to drink. She was forgiven on account of her action".

It is understood that the prostitute is forgiven and admitted to jannah (not sure if another narration explicitly stated enter jannah). So life is complex, God is merciful, we strive to be the best.

I wish everyone's in the best of health and as for us Muslims, may we always be blessed and in our highest state of Imaan constantly, inshaAllah.


Oh on a side note, just so you know, I do always wish to be able to write more here but yeah, I guess time flies and swoosh by too fast especially this past couple of months. MashaAllah, I am amazed at how one third of 2012 has already gone by!! Wallahi, I'm just in awe.


Anyway, back to the runaway before any crashing takes place **haha, in aviation mood atm. Yup, random much.** Here's sort of a Q & A regarding the topic of what comes after death. *coughs* hmm, sounds pretty intense of a subject chosen to discuss about eh. Haha, oh well.. (Anyhow, the replies are very well written and organised as well as pretty straightforward and simple to comprehend, this is why I would like to share it with others so it can benefit others as well. I'd say it is definitely worth a read albeit it being a tad bit long of a post.)

Q: What happens after we die? So judgment day is the same for all, or so I've been told. Then what happens to those who die first? I guess they're waiting? And I heard that this waiting period is something called barzakh? And where are they waiting?


A: The soul is not something in the material world right, it has no spatial location. i.e. the grave, cemetery, crematorium, etc. Js like where r u when u r asleep? Your body is in the bed, but your soul, Allahua’lam, nobody knows.

Firstly I think, consider the fact that we know very little about the soul. Scientifically speaking we have no idea what the soul is, as it is not in the material world. Like we know neurons fire in certain are of the brain and cause you to desire something etc, but we can’t describe fully why we feel everything in its glory, or what is consciousness, or how to bring the dead to life. The soul is beyond us:

“And they ask you concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." (Qur'an 17:85).

So what we understand a little bit about the soul from revelation is that, after we die, the soul will depart from our physical body. It will be in another realm called barzakh, and hadiths on the description of this waiting time realm (barzakh) can be read here.

When judgement day come, every soul will be ‘raised up’ again or put into a ‘materialistic’ body (again we don’t know the nature of this  body or this new material world existence, it is not the same as our world/universe). Then we will be judged and will find our final abode:

“And because the hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and because Allah shall raise up those who are in the graves.”Qur'an 22:7

Note that ‘graves’ here is not to be understood literally your grave that you were buried upon, it is a metaphorical expression for putting the soul back into a ‘physical existence’. As another verse below that mentions raising up, but not from the literal grave:

“Till when there comes to one of them the death he says: "My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." Never, it is but a word he says. And beyond them is a Barzakh  until the day when they (all) are raised up." Qur'an 23: 99-100.

“Even so is the quickening (raising the dead)” Qur'an 35:9

And we know scientifically that this universe will collapse and cease to exists someday. As there is big bang, the universe expands, then there will be big crunch where the universe will collapse back into singularity (non-existence, time and space cease to exists). So we know the end of time is inevitable, the universe is not infinite, nor will it exists forever, so whatever we understand in Islam about the end of time is in line with what we observe scientifically. Then judgement day starts, this new universe, reality, the afterlife.

Q: "My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected."

Send me back? He's asking to be sent back into the world so he can rectify his mistakes and perform more goodness that he had used to neglect in life? huh? what?! this isnt referring to reborn right.. Islam doesnt have this concept, no?

Which standard of "religious" are you?

So I was listening to a sermon during a Friday's prayer few weeks back and I recall wanting to write about it here but well, time's a constraint so too bad. Anyway, here's a statement that is still vivid:

There are 2 standards of being a "religious" person:

1) The more Islamic knowledge you possess, the more "religious" you are.

2) The more spiritual you are, the more "religious" you are.

Upon mention of these hypothesis, I was pretty intrigued by it and I somehow subconsciously had it repeated in my head for a few minutes and consequently, it's pretty much etched in my brain. Haha.

So, which one are you? Or maybe none fits you? Lol.

Anyway, I put religious in quotation marks because there are many ways to interpret that term. I'm not being sarcastic or pointing fingers to anyone, it's just.. yeah, sila tepuk dada tanya Iman;

Are you alim OR warak?

P/s: The term "alim" is very commonly misinterpreted and thus its usage is well, also wrong most of the time.

Hebat sangatkah Cinta?~

hebat sangatkah cinta,

atau cuma hawa nafsu semata,

jika tiada calon, ramai yang bertanya ,

mengapa tidak dicari katanya...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

jika cuma sesama manusia,

apatah lagi berlainan jantina,

hingga agama dibelakanginya...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

jika statusku single, mereka hairan dan bertanya,

sedangkan solat lima waktu tidak diberatnya,

jika ramai tak buat, ia cuma dipandang biasa...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

menghayati rasa yang terkandung di dada,

terlahirnya sajak ,puisi2 cinta,

lautan api sanggup diredahnya...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

hingga semua nak diserahkannya,

katanya memujuk, kononnya aku yang teristimewa,

sedangkan ayat sampah tu dah beribu kali dijaja...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

kononnya di hati tulus setia,

membukti cinta tanpa diduga,

akhirnya tubuh menjadi mangsa...

hebat sangatkan cinta,

" saya suka awak kerana agama"

kalau begitu mengapa mendekati zina,

jika benar agama ukurannya...

hebat sangatkah cinta,

mampu membuat diri tersenyum manja,

khayalnya meneguk madu cinta,

sedangkan yang diteguk racun paling berbisa...

hebat sangat kah cinta,

sehingga mata yang celik dikata buta,

dosa pun dia kata"tak mengapa",

janji kau aku yang punya...

hebat sangatkah cinta ,

jawapannya YA,

JIKA mencari cinta yang Esa & hakiki,

bahagianya kekal untuk selamanya...InshaAllah~

*Sekiranya kita cinta pada manusia

Tidak semestinya manusia cinta pada kita

Tetapi sekiranya kita cinta pada Allah

Nescaya cinta Allah tiada akhirnya.

Sekiranya kita cinta pada manusia

Kita akan cemburu kepada orang yang menyintai mereka yang kita cintai (this is indeed very true)

Tetapi sekiranya kita cinta pada Allah

Kita akan turut menyintai mereka yang melabuhkan cintanya kepada Allah juga (I second that)

SubhanAllah...betapa hebatnya cinta Pencipta kita...

What is Salat ISTIKHARAH?~

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim - in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Salam alaik and greetings to all readers,

First and foremost, let's give thanks to God (Allah) for the good health and ni'mat given unto us. Alhamdulillah~ =))

Alright~! So, today ana would like to share some general information on the salat istikharah prayer, which is one of the many sunnah prayers(customary prayers) there are. Ok, the rest is going to be pretty much manglish i.e. malay+english. Lol. Peace~~

SO WHAT IS SALAT ISTIKHARAH and WHO'S TO PERFORM IT?~


Ok, istikharah ni ramai sangatlah orang yang salah faham dan fikir ia hanya dilakukan apabila time bingung dan confused dalam memilih jodoh (untuk perkahwinan) tp ACTUALLY, IT HAS A BROADER MEANING & COVERAGE. It's in fact designed for those people that have hajat or cita2 untuk berbuat sesuatu perkara/pekerjaan tetapi mereka ni ragu2 dlm pekerjaan atau maksud perkara itu (say for example: nak buat major course ni ke ni? patut terima biasiswa ni ke loan ni ke? patut amik kerja ni ke yang tu? patut ke aku kahwin dia ke this is a big mistake? and etc.), whether it's wise or not to go on with it, and hence, it is suggested that in order for you to be able to choose whether to go on with that something or decide that it is not good for you, is to perform salat istikharah sebanyak 2 rakaat. Perkara ini dilanjurkan sendiri oleh Rasulullah (pbuh) dlm sabdanya yg bermaksud: apbl seseorang hendak melakukan sesuatu, hendaklah dia rukuk dgn 2 rukuk(smbhyg 2 rakaat) selain drpd sembahyang fardhu.

SO HOW TO PERFORM THIS SUNNAH PRAYER?~


Ok, ada 2 cara untuk melaksanakan smbhyg sunat istikharah ini iaitu
1) 2 rakaat + 1 salam
2) 12 rakaat + 6 salam
Ana x elaborate secara detail on this part tapi ana nak highlight sesuatu yg penting i.e. bila nak memulakan solat ini, hendaklah kita kuruskan hati ini. Macam mana? Dengan menyerahkan segala2 urusan SEPENUHNYA kepada Allah SWT~! Rehatkan dan lapangkan akal fikiran anda drpd memikirkan/menimbangkan sama ada perkara tersebut elok dibuat atau tidak. hah, kita serahkan sahaja kepadaNya. percayalah Allah. =)

WHAT'S THE HIKMAH BEHIND THIS SALAT?~

Ok, bagi golongan orang2 yg beriman:

1) cara ini menunjukkan dan menandakan bahawa mereka itu kembali kepada Tuhan mereka. =)

2) ia dapat menghilangkan segala keresahan atau kebingungan kita dalam menentukan pilihan yang betul dan tepat. Dengan mengosongkan fikiran dan hati serta menyerahkan segala urusan kepada Allah, kita akan diberi pilihan yang terbaik untuk diri dan agama. InshaALLAH~~

3) kita tidak akan menyalahkan diri sendiri jika berlaku sesuatu yang tidak baik as a consequence atau outcome of the decision that we take because we are confident that that is what Allah has fixed for us. Kita yakin bahawa itulah yang dikehendaki Allah yang pasti mempunyai banyak hikmah, kalau tidak di dunya pun, di akhirat nanti. inshaAllah~~

4) melaksanakan salat ini juga menandakan keikhlasan seseorang hamba terhadap Tuhannya~! Dgn melakukan sembhyg ini, dia meniadakan kehendak peribadinya dan menyerahkan diri dan semua urusannya kepada Allah SWT. =)

AFTER PERFORMING IT, HOW TO KNOW GOD'S ANSWERS?~

Ok, jawapan daripada Allah sama ada perkara itu elok atau tidak elok untuk diteruskan itu akan didatangkan kepada kita dengan:

1) rasa hati/gerak hati, iaitu hati itu merasakan keinginan yang kuat untuk melakukan perkara itu atau tidak

2) dengan mimpi

3) atau dengan deipermudahkan jalannya bagi sesuatu perkara itu untuk berlaku ataupun sebaliknya (i.e. macam banyak je perhalangan apabila anda meneruskan dgn hajat/cita2 tersebut..)

TETAPI, AH PAUSE SEKEJAP, TETAPI SEMUA INI DGN SYARATNYA, iaitu sebelum melakukan sunat Istikharah ini, janganlah kita menyimpan kecenderungan hendak kita sendiri mengikut pertimbangan akal fikiran, TETAPI HENDAKLAH MENGOSONGKAN HATI, AKAL, & KEPALA dan serahkan urusan itu sepenuhnya secara total kepada Allah SWT.

ADDITIONAL NOTES~~

1) Kalau kita ikut kebiasaan, orang ramai mengerjakan solat sunat Istikharah ini selama 3 malam berturut-turut atau lebih baik sehingga 7 malam di samping meletakkan sepenuh keyakinan kepada Allah. Maka dengan itu, laksanakanlah dengan yakin perkara yang dirasakan kuat di dalam hati setelah selesai solat bermalam2 secara berturut2.

Ini adalah berdasarkan sepotong hadith Nabi Muhammad(pbuh):

"Apabila kamu bercita2 untuk mengerjakan sesuatu, maka hendaklah kamu meminta(sembahyang Istikharah) drpd Allah sebanyak tujuh kali. Selepas itu, lihatlaha apa yang digerakkan pada hati oleh Allah dan mendahulukan hal itu, kerana sesungguhnya kebaikan itu ada pada yang didahulukan."

2) Ok, ana jg ada doa simple yang boleh digunakan sebagai reference untuk doa bila buat sunat Istikharah ini:

"YaAllah yaRabbi, hamba penuh dengan dosa2 dan kesalahan, ampunilah hambaMu yaAllah, rahmatilah hamabMu. YaAllah yaRabbi, tunjukkanlah yang terbaik bagi hamba, pilihkanlah yang terbaik bagi hamba YaAllah kerna sebaik2 rencana/rancangan, tetap rencanaMu yang terbaik. Amin yaRabbilalamin~"

Why get angry? The next time, swallow that anger~!!

Assalamualaikum to all,

Syukur (gratefulness) alhamdulillah to Him for giving me this chance to write another post. Ana pray that everyone's Iman is in their highest state. Amin yaRabb.

So, as we all know, people tend to get very angry easily, at little things that annoys and gets them upset. But why? Why must you let these trivial things get to your nerves my dear ikhwah and akhawat(brothers and sisters)? Let's start to learn to swallow our anger~! Let's become those people who perseveres through these things. I mean if we get exasperated and mad about little and insignificant things, how can we expect Allah SWT to forgive our big sins? MashaAllah. We expect from Allah to not get angry at us and yet, here we are, human so weak and incessantly directing anger in every situation.

We need to learn how to forgive people out of love, not for them (those who did wrong against you), but for yourself~!! In order for your name to be in the list amongst the people who are considered the Mutaqqins. At times, you monologue and say to yourself, "but no, this case is different. This person really doesn't deserve forgiveness at all. What he did is so messed up..." And by the way, forgiveness is not given to people who deserve it, it is by definition: to give it to somebody who doesn't deserve it.

All this anger and negative reactions are what's craved by the satans. The satans will no doubt want to cause frictions and unhappiness to people, especially among us believers. So, never allow yourself to succumb to these evil desires or the satans are going to have their laugh for their sickening achievements. Lame satans. Be sure to get rid of them from empowering you my dear ikhwah and akhawat. Take actions NOW before it's too late. Remember, once contaminated, it will be more difficult to clean up.

Ibn `Abbas said that Al-Muttaqqin means "Those who fear Allah's punishment, which would result if they abandoned the true guidance that they recognize and know. They also hope in Allah's mercy by believing in what He revealed.''

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. dear readers,

First off, ana would like to express ana's utmost gratitude and shukran (thank you) for sparing your precious time dropping by ana's average blog. Al yaum (today), ana would like to share how the AQ has all the answers to all our questions. Here are a fraction of examples à

We ask: Why am I being tested?
The AQ answers: (29:2-3) Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? We tested those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.

We ask: Why am I not getting what I crave for?
The AQ answers: (2:216) But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.

We ask: Why is this test so difficult?
The AQ answers: (2:286) On no soul Allah places a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns.

We ask: Why the frustration that we feel?
The AQ answers: (3:139) So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: for you must gain mastery if you are true in Faith. (it's easier to understand the malay translation: Janganlah kamu bersikap lemah, dan janganlah pula kamu bersedih hati, padahal kamulah orang2 yang paling tinggi darjatnya, jika kamu antara yang beriman.)

We ask: How should I face all this?
The AQ answers: (2:45-46) Nay, seek Allah's help with patience, perseverance and in prayer: it is indeed hard, except for those who are so engrossed (khusyuk), who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him.

We ask: What do I get from all this?
The AQ answers: (9:111) Allah has purchased of the Believers their persons and their goods and in return is the Garden (Jannah - Paradise).

We ask: To whom do I hope on?
The AQ answers: (9:129) Allah is sufficient for me: there is no God but He: on Him is my trust (tawakkal), - He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!

We say: I can't stand this anymore!
The AQ answers: (12:12) ...dan janganlah kamu berputus asa dari rahmat Allah. Sesungguhnya tiada berputus asa dari rahmat Allah melainkan kaum yang kafir.

We ask: Till when am I going to suffer like this?
The AQ answers: (94:5-8) So, verily, with every difficulty there is relief. Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. Thereforee, when you are free(from your immediate task), still labor hard, and to your Lord turn (all) your attention!

We ask: Why is my heart not at peace/ease?
The AQ answers: (13:28) Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt, in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find satisfaction and peace.

So, let's stop questioning and instead work towards righteousness "for those who believe and work righteousness is blessed and and a beautiful place of (final) return." (13:29)

Is there a heaven in Islam and how do you get there?

I was browsing the net and suddenly came across this. I'm awed by the way the person answered this question in such detail and in a very promising and convincing manner too! Mabruk to our fellow brother. I enjoyed reading his simple yet fulfilling respond. Hence, I would like to share this with everyone else, Muslim or non-Muslims.. =)

Question: Is there a heaven in Islam and how do you get there?

Yes there is heaven. they're huge and beautiful. to get there the first thing you have to do is to learn what god(Allah) wants you to learn in this life. And that is how to be sincere to Him. Don't say there is another god besides him or that he has offsprings. Don't say something that you do not know. Imagine. God gave us life and knowledge. Why did he not place us straight in heaven? because here we learn things we do not learn in heaven. Sincerity, sadness and loss. Here we find god. Learn the bible, the quran and whatever religious book u can find. Know that you'll find no mistakes in the quran. no false statement. no two sentences that says two different facts about the same matter. Find Him and never let go. Then learn His rules. And follow them. Then hold on tight to all that you've learn. Don't lose them. Then you will go to heaven, Insyaallah(with God's will)
Goodluck!! 

Also continue praying to Allah (SWT) that you want to go to heaven. Allah (SWT) loves our prayers and will take them into consideration. Inshalla (with Allah (SWT)'s will) we shall all go to Paradise.

Can we celebrate birthdays?~

I'm just wondering, is it wrong or it's discouraged for Muslims to celebrate birthdays? In the eyes of Islam, is it alright or it is not wise to do so? Hmm..

Am I having a misleading thinking? (am I sesat?)

Assalamualaikum to all,

As everyone is aware of the tragedies that befall Japan now; something struck me suddenly! I was thinking about who's worst off --- the survivors or the dead? If you were to ask me to choose, I'd be able to answer very easily: I'd definitely, without a doubt, choose to be amongst the dead. Well, this is because, the dead only suffers at that "spur of the moment" or in other words, just for a short time. As for the survivors, they have to go through SO SO SO MUCH MORE TO THE STAGE THAT IT IS OVERWHELMINGLY SCARY & UNFATHOMABLE~!! These survivors lose their family members, friends, houses, and basically everything~!! And now with the nuclear plant damage with the leakage and all, they are all exposed to the radiation that will highly cause cancer to so many victims! Not just cancer, there are so many other negative side effects when one is exposed to the radiation.

However, if I think about this from the perspective of Islam, it seems like I shouldn't choose to be amongst the dead but to be one of the survivors as all this crazy pain that I mentioned earlier would be the tests by Him~! and that I didn't actually lose everything because I always still have Him and my faith. Hmmm...

Also, I just want to know, is it wrong to want to die and leave the world? Is it wrong to have these sort of thoughts? Hmm..

What is Tarbiyyah?~

The word "Tarbiyyah" is an Arabic word that linguistically means increase, growth, and loftiness. Conventionally, Tarbiyyah means the development and the training of people in various aspects.

In this context, the word Tarbiyah refers to the systematic development and training of Muslims. It is a continuous and comprehensive process of developing all aspects of the Muslim character/personality, i.e. spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, and physical aspects. The Tarbiyyah process aims to put Muslims on the path of constant self-purification, self-correction and self-development(Tasfiyah), and instill in them the passion for truth, righteousness, and justice. 

It is an approach which traces its origins to the Qur'an and to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (saw), as he invested efforts in the education/training of his companions. As a result of his exertions, he not only left a great message, the message of Islam, but a great generation that carried and spread the message all over the globe - bringing humanity from darkness into His Light. 

It is this quality of people that the Prophet (saw) nurtured that constitute the secret behind the miracle of Islam.


The focus of Tarbiyyah is to groom participants who are distinguished, strive for excellence, have a sense of mission, are self-motivated, conduct a balanced life, live in peace with themselves and their environment, be equipped with the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to make a difference in the society by taking an active role - both individually and collectively - in the reform process that seeks to make the betterment of our community, our country, and the entire world.

~NEVER LOSE FAITH~

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim - In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. dear readers, (ana share something that ana's friend shared with me. Credits to Ukhti Siti Hajar) à

Rasulullah saw (pbuh) said.: "Those who possess these three things, it is believed that he will gain the beauty/sweetness of iman(faith). And those 3 things are à

• he loves Allah and His Messenger more than any other beings, 
• he loves a person solely/just because of Allah, 
• he despises to go back to the ways of a disbeliever (sinning) as he strongly hates to be thrown into Hell. " (Hadith Sahih Riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim)

Dear fellow brothers and sisters, let us integrate these 3 things in ourselves in order to successfully achieve the ultimate sweetness of iman within us.

So, why am I so pushy to urge you all to obtain this so-called sweetness? Well, as you can predict what I'm about to say, with this sweetness of iman, we will not complain of exhaustion and worn out in times of preaching.

With the sweetness of faith, we are always accepting (redha) and tawakkal (believe and afraid of Him) with all the tests by Allah. With the sweetness of faith, we are always prepared and on the alert for Islam, our way of life.

At times, we become tired and weak when preaching. Sometimes, we feel that we have done a lot of contribution in Islam, but what we get in return is just fatigue, depression, sadness and the list goes on. On top of that, many a times, those followers do not seem to appreciate what we share. Often, many of our friends do not acknowledge our efforts.

BUT PLEASE BEAR IN MIND, this missionary work is never about others around you. It concerns you and Him~! With the sweetness of iman, only to Allah should we place our full hope on. With the sweetness of iman, we will always be confident and believe in 'the hidden Blessings' that Allah has promised to His believers~~

"Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden(in reserve) fir them - as a reward for their good deeds" [32:17]

Let us strive and struggle (bermujahadah) in our race towards the sweetness of iman~! Hopefully, our hearts are constantly calm, peaceful and redha in upholding the words of God here on Earth.
