AQ Verse~

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim - in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamualaikum to all,

Thanks to Him I'm still here to update ana's blog. Alhamdulillah. Anyway, ana want to share one of ana's favourite verse from the AQ:-

(14:31) - Say(Muhammad -pbuh) to My (Allah's) servants who believe and have faith, to establish regular prayers to Me (Allah) and spend/give part of what We have given unto them (in wealth and resources), secretly or publicly (for the purpose of good and not evil), before the day (Resurrection Day) comes (in the Hereafter) when there shall be neither bargaining or befriending (that can be of any benefit against My(Allah) judgment at that time).

Translation in Malay -->

(14:31) - katakanlah (Muhammad) kepada hamba2Ku yang telah beriman, "hendaklah mereka melaksanakan solatmenginfakkan sebahagian rezeki yang Kami berikan secara sembunyi atau secara terang2ngan sebelum datang hari kiamat, ketika itu tidak ada lagi jual beli (negotiation) dan persahabatan dgnKu (Allah)."

Hah. Dah baca kan? Maknanya yang tak tahu pun skrg dah tahu kan? Heheh. Kalau kita dah tau, jgn buat tak tau. Lagi berat dosa kalau org yg berilmu tidak mempraktikkan apa yang mereka ketahui. dan apa salahnya kalau kita ikut, kan dpt lagi rapat ngan Allah? Hidup kita sbg umat Islam, tujuan utama kita haruslah mengejar cinta Ilahi~!

ANNOUNCEMENT dear readers~!

Salam alaik to all,

From now onwards, ana will not restrain myself from writing my posts in Malay anymore. Before this, I try my best not to write too many posts in Malay and to write mostly in English as I initially intend targetting readers from a wider scope and area. However, I find that sometimes it's tad bit hard to describe things as well in English than in Malay. Guess it's due to ana's poor English.

If you don't understand Malay and would like to know what I'm writing, you can always use the google webpage translator. =) Where there's a will, there's a way~~ =D

Ana would also like to take this opportunity to thank "whomever who's been reading or have ever set their mouse at ana's blog page" for the incessant support~! May you all be in Allah's blessings always. Amin. =)

Reminiscence & GRADES~!! He Knows, while you know not~!!

Alhamdulillah for I'm still able to add a blog post today. I bid everyone to be in good health and in the highest state of Iman. Aminn.

So, it's half past midnight and I just got home from school. Am having quite a tummy discomfort at the moment. Maybe cos I only had a bagel as my dinner? Oh well, still grateful at least I get to fill my stomach with some food ! Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah ! It may sound like it's not a big deal but let's thank Allah whenever we can, be it small or big, because when we remember Him, He'll remember us in return ! Be sure that fact gets etched in your mind ! =) **am having a very warm and soothing camomile with mint tea in hopes of helping my tummy ache+toasted bread with honey and za'tar spice** thank you Allah^_^

Alright, now moving on to the main point of this post. Haha. Sorry for the quite irrelevant intro.

Ever recalled yourself saying/arguing with your teacher, lecturer, instructor, TA, you name it; about how every single point matters to you? How you mentioned, fought, and cried for pity to be granted that few meager points for it'd help towards your final grade? Pointing and highlighting to him/her how it's all about the grades? How important grades are to you? Now now, try thinking when was the last time you thought/felt similarly with your SOLATS (prayers) ?! Dear ikhwah & akhawat (brothers & sisters), we human tend to allow ourselves to drown in the dunya. I mean, try pondering: Will those so called 'GREAT GRADES' guarantee you Jannah (paradise) ? Will those "grades" promise you His rewards? Will those "grades" please Him? or lead you to yhour ULTIMATE HAPPINESS? No, the answer to ALL those questions is a flat N O, NO! Do you realise how worked up especially us students (well obviously, this is the group of target since it's bout grades..) can get when it comes to grades and results? DO YOU GET THAT WORKED UP WHEN YOU MISS YOUR SOLAT(S) ?!! Astaghfirulla.. astaghfirullah.. astaghfirullahaladzim...~!! -_-"

(2:151-152)

Even as We have sent among you a Messenger (Muhammad S.A.W.) of your own, reciting to you Our Messages (the Al Qur'an) and purifying you, and teaching you the Scripture (the AQ) and the Hikmah (i.e. Sunnah, Islamic Laws and Fiqh), and teaching you that which you used not to know (new knowledge). Therefore remember Me; I shall remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject not Faith (do not defy/act ungrateful with Me) !

However, this does not mean I'm encouraging you to not care about your grades at all. This does not also give you the green light to not put in your best efforts in your studies. Sure thing, school and its grades are pretty big deal for us because when it comes to black and white, what's seen are the letters imprinted on the official document. However, that is no reason for us to become too obsessed with it, and I quote, "God helps those who help themselves." Remember and keep in mind that we as Muslims who have Him with us, should live a lifestyle that aligns His words i.e. the Holy Al Qur'an. Always, always, apply the D.U.I.T. principle - Doa (Pray) . Usaha (Effort) . Ikhtiar (Initiative) . Tawakkal (Trust) . ~~~

Doa Usaha Ikhtiar Tawakkal = DUIT! Do It! =D

InsyaAllah, after applying D.U.I.T., whatever befalls you then, is what's best for us. Accept with open heart - we call it REDHA (kita redha je lah dgn apa yg direzekikan olehNya kpd kita). Maybe at the moment, you wouldn't understand why or maybe even to the extend of being really disappointed and sad, but "la tahzan (don't be sad)", -

(2:216)

"...but it is possible that you love a thing which is bad for you; and that you dislike a thing which is good for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."

ALLAH KNOWS BEST~!

OK, ana will pen again another time. Now, it's time for me to finish my camomile mint tea and then tug myself in bed.

Bermalam di katil seorang lelaki~

Bismillah.

Moga semua dalam keadaan sihat wal afiat. Al-yaum (hari ini), sekadar ingin berkongsi cerita 'copy paste' yang mempunyai moral/pengajaran yang penting (kalau artikel tiada manfaat, manakan ana hendak post di blog ana) sebab ana sendiri masih tidak berapa senang untuk menulis coretan sendiri. Idea memang ada sentiasa mengalir, cuma semuanya duduk berbaris dalam drafts akibat kesibukan ana yang teramat ini. astaghfirullah. minta supaya Allah membantu meringankan sedikit kerja2 ana. iAllah. Allah musta'an. (kepada Allah lah kita meminta bantuan)

Bermalam Di Katil Seorang Lelaki

Kisah berlaku waktu satu rombongan guru pelatih membuat rombongan ke tempat bersejarah. Bila sampai ke tempat yang dituju para guru pelatih mendapati tempat tersebut merupakan satu yang tidak pernah dikunjung oleh sesiapa…lengang, sepi!

Maka guru pelatih bermula turun untuk melihat kesan sejarah yang ada di tempat tersebut. Pada permulaan, mereka berkumpul bersama melihat kesan sejarah yang ada. Lebih kurang sejam selepas itu mereka berpecah menuju ke tempat sejarah yang mereka sukai.

Nak jadi cerita, seorang guru pelatih perempuan yang begitu tekun mencatit dan mengarang maklumat yang ada pada kesan sejarah tersebut, tanpa disedar,dah tertinggal.

Yang trainer pulak ingat semua cikgu-cikgu dah ada dalam bas, so mereka bertolak untuk balik.

Cikgu pelatih yang tertinggal tu mula gabra…menjerit sekuat hati, cemas giler panggil kawan-kawan dia dan pelatih yang lain. Tapi hampa.

So dia tekad berjalan nak keluar dari tempat berkenaan menuju ke kampung berdekatan. Sejam berjalan tetapi masih tidak menjumpai sesiapa. Startlah letih dan menangis panggil mak ayah.

Pusing pusing nampak satu pondok kecik berdekatan dengan tempat tu. so dia pegi ketuk pintu. Keluar seorang pemuda anggaran umur linkungan lewat 20an dan bertanya: siapa kamu? Jawablah cikgu tadi yang dia tertinggal bas rombongan, dan tak tahu nak pulang.

Berkatalah lelaki tadi bahawa tempat yang ingin ditujunya berletak di selatan dan tempat mereka berada di utara, dan tempat tu memang tak didiami sesiapa. Maka menangislah cikgu tadi bagai orang hilang akal…

Disebabkan kesian, lelaki tu menyuruh cikgu tadi bermalam dipondok dia je sementara tunggu subuh untuk di hantar pulang.

Cikgu tu disuruh tidur atas katil lelaki tersebut manakala lelaki itu tidur atas lantai berhamparkan kain je dan ambil sehelai kain lain digantung sebagai pengadang tempat tidur antara dia dan cikgu tu.

Lelaki tadi duduk dipenjuru pondok dan membaca buku. Yang cikgu tu tutup seluruh badan dia ngan kain gebar menahan menangis dek takut dan tak henti matanya mengawasi lelaki misteri tu.

Tiba-tiba lelaki tu tutup buku dan pergi kat lilin yang menyala dan membakar jarinya satu persatu.

Cikgu tadi apalagi, bertambah kecut perut takut kerana berfikir bahawa lelaki tersebut mengamalkan ilmu songsang.. mengeletar giler maut… Maka kedua-duanya tidak tidur sehingga pagi…

Bila menjelang pagi lelaki tersebut menghantar cikgu tadi ketempat asalnya.

Bila dah sampai rumah, cikgu tadi pun menceritakan apa yang terjadi kat mak bapak dia. Bapak cikgu tu dengan seribu satu persoalan mengesyaki sesuatu berlaku, sebab tengok anak dia nampak sakit, pucat lesi dan takut amatlah sangat.

Si bapa pun pergi ke tempat yang dimaksudkan anaknya tu. Menyamar sebagai pemburu yang tersesat dan bertanya tempat tuju. Dalam hati si bapa tadi hairan tengok jari jari tangan lelaki tadi berbalut dan bertanya kenapa…

So lelaki tu pun cerita bahawa dua malam lepas datang seorang perempuan cantik elok paras rupa untuk tumpang bermalam dipondok beliau. Dan sudah tentu pada ketika itu syaitan iblis sudah berada bersama mereka. Disebabkan takut terjadinya perkara yang tidak diingini berlaku, beliau membakar jarinya satu persatu supaya dapat menghindarkan diri dari berfikir memperkosa perempuan tersebut.

Mendengar penerangan lelaki tersebut si bapa mempelawa lelaki berbalut jari itu datang kerumahnya dan berhajat mengahwinkan anaknya kepada lelaki tersebut.., tanpa pengetahuan lelaki tu yang bahawasanya perempuan yang akan dikahwininya adalah perempuan yang menumpang tidur di katil nya 2 malam yang sudah…

MORAL CERITA :

Apabila kita nak lakukan dosa, cubalah kita letakkan tangan kita di atas api. Jika kita mampu menahan kepedihan api tanpa rasa sakit, lakukan dosa tersebut TETAPI jika kita tak mampu.

Ingatlah bahawasanya api di dunia ini telah di hilangkan bisa neraka selama beribu2 tahun baru diletak di dunia ni, dan cuba kita bayang dan rasakan kepedihan api sebenarnya iaitu Api Neraka..

p/s : mcm mn??fikir sendiri la..korang sume dh besar..dosa pun tanggung sendiri..peringatan utk shah n rakan2 sume..sedut sini..

Eating prayers~

Bismillah.

Today, ana went out to have some lunch with a good friend.

WARNING! : Don't forget, before you put that food into your mouth, please do read your eating prayers! or if you don't remember it, at least, please say "Bismillah". =)

Eating prayer - Allahumma bareeq lanaa fima razaaqtana wakeena azaa banaar


(aseef, ana not so sure of the spelling but that's how it sounds like. and it's really easy you know. maybe at first, it seems so long, just like it was for me the first few times ana started practising reading this prayer everytime before ana eat and alhamdulillah, 9/10 times ana remember to say it. but after one week, wah, you can say it easily. just like snapping your fingers!)


or an alternative is - Bisimillahi wa 'ala baraka-tillah (Hah, so short this one! No more complains OK?!!)
which translates to - With Allah's name and upon the blessings granted by Allah, do we eat. 


There's also prayer after your meals: Alhamduillahi lathee at amana wa saquana waja 'alana minal Muslimin.
Translation: All praise to Allah who gave us food and drink and who made us Muslims. =)

One thing ana dislike bout this country is the high tax charges. So sad, ana always paying for tax, which hinders me from giving them good tips sometimes. hmm..

Anyway, we walked a bit in the mall and here's a pretty nice fountain!~ Get to de-stress a bit from the hectic weekdays. Alhamdulillah..

All right, that's all and here's a picture=)

REMINDER!: Everyday, don't forget to give thanks to Allah (make this a kewajipan) in EVERY SOLAT (prayer) ! Many people forget to do that. It's such a simple thing, saying thank you i.e.. I mean, Allah gets a lot of prayers mentioning their hopes from Him, what they want to achieve, what they need, and so on, but only a handful remember to also include a simple "Thank you Allah for all that you've done for me". Do this in your sujud alright ikhwah and akhawat? x susah pun.. =)
