The word "Islam" itself means "Submission to Allah." The Islam religion is not named after a person like "Christianity" which was named after Jesus Christ, "Buddhism" after Guatama Buddha , "Confucianism" after Confucius, and "Marxism" after Karl Marx.
The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission/surrender of one's will to the will of the only true God that is worthy of worship, i.e. ALLAH and anyone who does indeed submit themselves to the will of Allah as required by Islam is called a "Muslim," which means 'one who has submitted to the will of Allah.'
What Is The Basic Concept of Islam?
Islam teaches us that our life is a life of worship where we are placed on this Earth in order to worship Allah and obey His commands. During this earthly life, we are subjected to a series of tests and trials. We have the option to endure these trials and conforming to certain laws >> and our reward will be great in the afterlife, or we may decline to endure these trials and choose to not conform to the law >> then we will be made to regret it in the afterlife.
Each person will be solely and completely responsible for their own final reward. God has designed these laws to make this life a better, safer, and more tolerable one for us. If we elect to conform to them then we will see the result in this life even before moving on to the next.
We also learn that the earthly life is a life of faith and work, and the afterlife is one of reward and no work. We have been placed on this Earth to worship Allah, pray (Solat), fast during Ramadan, be industrious, good, kind, respectful, and live by the three pillars of Ibadah (Love, fear, and hope). We are also informed that God has no need of our worship as He is the Almighty. Our worship does not increase the kingdom of God nor add to His power. However, it is in our best interests both in this life and the next that we do this.
"O humankind! Verily! We have created you from a male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Verily, the noblest among you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing. Verily, Allah is Most Knowing, Most Aware." The Al-Qur'an from Al-Hujrat Verse 13 (49:13).

The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission/surrender of one's will to the will of a completely FALSE god that is NOT worthy of worship, i.e. satan and anyone who does indeed submit themselves to the will of satan as required by Islam is called a "Muslim," which means 'one who has submitted to the will of satan, and is foolish enough to be deceived by him.' If you don't believe me, go home and face East, and CRY OUT for your (so-called) "allah" to answer you and speak to you. You will hear.....NOTHING. Then, ask the REAL "One, True and Living GOD", the Father of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and JESUS the Christ of Nazareth to speak to you, and you WILL hear Him, because HE IS GOD Almighty, The Holy One Who LOVES you! Try it, if you have the courage to. He Loves you, and has been waiting for you!
Hi. I respect what you believe in but you should be respectful of others' believes and not belittle their beliefs what more to say unpleasant stuff.
Also, what you say is not true at all. I was a Christian believer. I would know better than a lot of people out there. Believe me, Allah is the One and Only True God. Why not you try it if you have the courage to, my fellow friend.
