YOU can call people to Islam. Yes, YOU ! (directed to Muslim readers, as for non-Muslims: I come in peace=))

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim - in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful.

Salam alaik & Greetings to all,

Sometimes we tend to be afraid to do some things as we believe that we do not have the qualifications or the ability and sufficient knowledge to do so. However, you need to stop doubting and start believing more. Believe in yourself and in Allah as those who are sincere in their attempt of calling people back to Allah, inshaAllah, the Lord will be with you. He will guide and help you in your effort of spreading His Words. Remember, He is always with the doers of good.

(Al-Ankabut, 29:69) - And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.

(An-Nahl, 16:125) - Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

It is not essential to know the entire religion to call people to Islam: But the one who takes on the mission of calling people to Islam has to have knowledge and insight into what he is calling them to. It is not essential for him to know the entire religion. Explaining this issue, Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:

If a person has proper understanding what he is calling people to, it makes no difference whether he is a great scholar or a seeker of knowledge who is a hard worker, or an ordinary Muslim whose knowledge of a particular issue is clear and certain. The Messenger (pbuh) said: “Convey from me, even if it is a verse.” He did not stipulate that the daa‘iyah (one who calls people to Allah) should have vast knowledge; rather he stipulated that he should have knowledge of what he is calling people to. As for the one who is ignorant and calls people on the basis of emotion, that is not permissible.

Allah (SWT) reminds us that we do not know what is in the hearts of people. It is upon us to convey the message and it is upon Allah (SWT) to guide the hearts.

WAllahua'lam.

The greater the struggle, the more glorious the triumph.
