"Be careful if you make a woman cry, because Allah the Most High counts her tears. A Woman came out of the rib of man, not his feet to be walked on, nor his head to be superior over; She came from his side to be his companion, under his arm to be protected, and next to his heart to be loved."
This proves that women are not at a disadvantage in Islam religion. Many misunderstand this. My family for instance, they don't like the idea of me talking fondly of Islam because they feel that only men have reasons to convert into Islam. I know they are doing this because they love me dearly, but I hope one day I will be able to show them that what they think is not how it is so that they will be able to accept my reversion with open hearts and minds. For now, they still do not know of me being a muslimah. I have tried telling a few times, but all to no avail.
